Strider: The Organic Cargo Trousers of Your Dreams 😍

Back in the early days of 3RD ROCK, one of the first styles we ever created was the Strider, a bold take on the classic cargo trouser.

Designed to move with you, endure your wildest adventures, and still look good at the pub afterwards — the Strider quickly became a favourite among climbers, commuters, and outdoor lovers alike.

Guess what… The Strider is back baby! ❤

Ask and you shall receive! We’ve had quite a few requests over the years to bring the Strider back… maybe those original trousers from 2012 finally gave up the ghost! 👻

As we developed our new organic cotton twill material, it only seemed right to bring a classic style back - and thanks to Gen-Z making cargo trousers cool again (written by a Gen-Z so you’re welcome 😉) there was no question… the Strider was making a comeback!

So here we are, 2025 is starting to look a bit like 2008 with Linkin Park on the radio & Cargo trousers in fashion again!

Strider isn’t just about looking great though! We’ve used our new soft-yet-sturdy organic cotton twill, blended with just the right amount of stretch to keep these bad boys zero-restriction. Are these the stretchiest cargo trousers ever? Maybe 😉

But there’s another point to consider when creating a pair of outdoor adventure trousers: durability. Which is why our Strider has reinforced bum & knee patches to not only protect your beautiful self, but also to make them last even longer!

We also designed the Strider with a Banana cut to give your knees (not your 🍌) more room to move.

Strider is a utility trouser through and through, they’re tough & hardwearing whilst still being comfortable with a relaxed, unisex fit. Durable trousers don’t need to be all heavy and stiff! This is 2025, not 1925 after all! 😜

But Utility trousers are more than just the style - they need to be practical! That’s why we’ve added ankle puller cords, 5 big pockets (including 2 zipped for valuables), and reinforced belt loops.

One of our side pockets also has an added gusset for EVEN more storage.
